Sunny joins Greenford TC with great experience in teaching adults and juniors of all ages and abilities.

He has previously managed several prestigious clubs in London and surrounding areas. He is passionate about what he does and gets great satisfaction from watching his students develop and improve the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of their tennis. Lessons are devised to suit individuals, smaller or larger groups. In his lessons Sunny will employ different teaching techniques to help you improve your game.

Junior Coaching Programme

Our emphasis is on having fun in a safe and friendly environment. This session teaches children how to enjoy the game through a series of fun activities with the aim of improving their agility, balance, co-ordination, movement, racquet skills and ball skills.

Large soft red balls are used.

Building on basic ABC's (agility, balance and co-ordination). We also aim to teach basic technique and rules in this fun and active class. Introduction of rallying and match play.

Children start working on how to hold the racquet correctly and will be aware that each stroke has a start and finish. They can hit the ball while creating some balance and stance. Learning how to rally from the mid court whilst maintaining patience and concentration. They learn how to serve overarm and have some basic volley and smash awareness.

Low compression orange balls are used.

This class challenges children to get ready for the real game. Focus on the game, right technique, control of the strokes and fundamental footwork are all emphasized. Children are now playing from the 3/4 courtsize (new LTA guidelines) and mastering the skills of each stroke in competitive and fun/friendly environment.

High compression green balls are used.

This class is designed for our teens to enjoy the game of tennis and to fall in love with it. Tailor made class for beginners and improvers. Introduction of all strokes, various grips and rallying from baseline will be taught. Basic volleys, simple serves and smashes. Singles and doubles matchplay will be introduced with a basic knowledge of tactics.

Proper tennis balls are used.

This class is designed for intermediate and advanced players. Introduction of spin and slice, advanced roundstrokes, various types of volleys, serves and smashes will be taught. Singles and doubles match play will be introduced and a full knowledge of tactics implemented.

Adult Coaching Programme

This session is a high energy group fitness training. As opposed to focusing on technique and tactics this session is about getting your heart rate up, burning lots of calories and hitting lots of balls. Delivering full body workout. This is fun, social and designed to get you moving.

Tennis ability not important.

This session is designed for adults who are complete beginners or who haven’t played in a long time. It is fun and easy way for adults to get into the game. During the sessions you will be taught how to serve, perform groundstrokes and volleys, rally and score so that by the end you will be able to enjoy fun matches with your friends, family or other players you meet.

This session is for improvers and less confident intermediate players. Players will concentrate on one element of the game and work on the progressions around it. It is high intensity with lots of repetition to get tennis stroke right. Proper tennis footwork will be taught.

This session is for intermediate and advanced players looking to develop their skills and learn new tactics to put into match practice.

The session will involve doubles play and each player will learn patterns and techniques to effectively apply in all situations and take their game to the next level. The session will involve the following drills:

• Doubles Formation
• Interception
• Communication With Partner
• Court Positioning
• Construction Of Points
• Net Play

This session is covering same topics as above. Tailor made practice to suit playing standard and needs of club players competing in interclub matches. Focus is more on match play and working on certain areas in doubles to improve their game.
ACADEMY PROGRAMME for Red / Orange / Green and Yellow will be run on invitational basis. Schedule to be advertised.

Our well-established Holiday Camps combine high-quality tennis coaching with a friendly, social atmosphere where children can make new friends, stay active, and most importantly — have fun.

Each day is carefully structured to help children develop key physical skills such as coordination, balance, agility, and confidence on court, all while enjoying the game in a safe and supportive environment.

Our Holiday Camps are open to children of all ages and skill levels — from complete beginners picking up a racket for the first time, to more experienced players looking to improve technique, match play, and competitive skills.

Sessions are designed to build confidence and enjoyment, with coaches adapting activities to each child’s ability level.
